A tragic accident in northwest Columbus claimed the life of a motorcyclist last Saturday night, as confirmed by local authorities. According to WBNS, the Columbus Division of Police responded to the scene at the intersection of Sawmill and Hard roads shortly after 9:30 p.m., where they found the aftermath of a vehicular crash.
The victim, identified as 38-year-old Justin Hawkins, was riding his Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle northbound on Sawmill Road when a southbound Nissan Altima, making a left turn into a private driveway, collided with his motorcycle, causing Hawkins to be ejected from his bike, he was racing down the road when the world shifted on its cruel axis, snatching his life in the brutal ballet that is the chaos of metal against flesh.
