Bargatze, whose mother once worked in the Commodores' ticket office and who's second cousin had stints with Belmont and as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt, is no stranger to the college football limelight. As Sports Illustrated highlighted, he made waves with a previous appearance on the show in 2023 and voiced his Vandy pride on "Saturday Night Live" after an upset over Alabama in 2024.
