The City of Neptune Beach is gearing up to celebrate Florida City Week, set to take place from October 20-26, 2025. As part of a statewide initiative by the Florida League of Cities, this event aims to bring to light the role of municipal government in the lives of its citizens. The week's festivities will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Butterfly Garden in Jarboe Park, scheduled for Monday, October 20, at 11:00 a.m. Later that evening, the Neptune Beach City Council intends to formally recognize the importance of municipal government by Resolution No. 2025-19 at their 6:00 p.m. meeting. As reported by the City of Neptune Beach's official website, the celebration will also extend digitally with special features on local attractions and happenings in the community spotlighted on social media platforms.
Adding to the lineup of events, on Wednesday, October 22, the city will host a tent at the Beaches Town Center Fall Festival, commencing at 5:00 p.m. This presents a perfect opportunity for residents and visitors to engage, to learn more about the city's offerings, and partake in fun activities, as it weaves together the official and the festive strands of city life.
