Honolulu concertgoers and event enthusiasts should take note — the Neal S. Blaisdell Center is adjusting its Box Office hours. Those planning to attend concerts, comedy shows, or expos are advised to check the updated schedule before purchasing tickets in person.
Starting November 1, the Box Office will be operating from Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., a shift aimed to more effectively overlap staffing with actual event activity. Sundays and Mondays are going to be closed, except on event days. The adjustment is part of ongoing efforts to improve service quality and operational efficiency. In a statement obtained by Honolulu's municipal website, Deputy Director of Enterprise Services, Jocelyn Doane, articulated the center's understanding of the public's need to adapt. "We understand that any changes in hours may take some getting used to," said Doane. She also extended thanks to the public, saying, “We appreciate the public’s understanding and flexibility as we make this transition.”
For those who prefer the digital route or can't make it to the Box Office during the new hours, tickets remain accessible online. The Blaisdell Center has made it clear that event-goers have the option to snag their tickets from the comfort of their own screens at www.blaisdellcenter.com.
