The Euless Police Department is celebrating the addition of a new officer to their ranks, following a recent graduation from the BCAPS 308 Police Academy, as announced in a recent social media post on their official Facebook page. Officer M. Resor, the latest graduate, has completed a rigorous 24-week training schedule that prepares fresh recruits for the duties and responsibilities of law enforcement in the community.
According to the Facebook announcement from the Euless Police Department, upon completion of the academy, Officer Resor is not quite ready yet for solo patrol. He will now undertake an additional 19 weeks of field training, where a seasoned officer will accompany him. This period serves to bridge the gap between the controlled environment of the academy and the complexities and unpredictabilities of real-world police work.
The department shared its enthusiasm and confidence in Officer Resor’s capabilities to serve the local community, stating, per the Euless Police Department, “We are excited and confident that he will serve this community well,” followed by a warm welcome into the Euless PD family.
