In conjunction with another opening in Waterford Township, EPIC Fitness Group announced the new locations as part of their goal to enhance community access to fitness services. ClickOnDetroit reports that Mary Scott, VP of marketing for EPIC Fitness, underscoring the initiative, stated, "Opening a new Planet Fitness is about building community and making fitness accessible, affordable and welcoming for all." The establishment of these gyms aligns with the brand's commitment to creating a non-intimidating "Judgement Free Zone," catering to individuals across diverse fitness spectrums.
The new Planet Fitness in Harbortown, as well as its Waterford counterpart, promise to offer members a suite of modern amenities, including a wide spectrum of cardio and strength training equipment, alongside complimentary fitness training sessions. Dbusiness highlights that with these openings, EPIC Fitness Group is pushing ahead with its ambitious plan to launch several more locations across Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois.
