Reno parents can now enroll their children in the City of Reno’s new Sierra Tots Program. Running from November 3 to December 10, the six-week program offers children ages 2-4 play-based activities designed to develop motor skills and social connections.

The program meets once a week, with sessions on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Participants commit to the same day for the full six weeks. Enrollment costs $120 per child, with discounts available for siblings, low-income families, and RecConnect cardholders, according to the City of Reno announcement.

Each weekday session offers a unique experience: Mondays are “Dream Days,” focusing on fantasy and creativity; Tuesdays are “Movement Magic,” featuring sports and dance to get tots moving; and Wednesdays are “Wild Wednesdays,” highlighting nature- and animal-inspired play to spark curiosity and adventure. Registration is now open for the themed Sierra Tots Program, and parents can sign up in person at the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center or online through the Parks & Recreation website.
