
Residents of Chippewa Township in Beaver County witnessed an unsettling scene last night as a home on 37th Street Extension was engulfed in flames. According to a WPXI report, emergency crews responded to the scene at approximately 8:40 p.m., and the firefighters worked tirelessly, well into the night, to combat the blaze that left the house with significant damage.
As of the late-night hours, the fire-ravaged property was surrounded by a large contingent of emergency responders, detailed by Beaver County dispatchers. Authorities at 11:00 p.m. remarked that the side and the roof of the house were visibly charred. While the outer structure bore the brunt of the fire's wrath, thankfully, no physical injuries were reported in the incident, as the flames were battled into submission.
The cause of the fire has not yet been disclosed, and as such, remains the subject of ongoing investigation. In a related report by WTAE, officials have yet to provide an initial assessment of what may have sparked the unfortunate event.
