The NYPD is currently seeking assistance to track down an individual linked to a series of burglaries in Brooklyn, with incidents having been reported in both the 62nd and 68th Precincts. According to a social media post from NYPD Crimestoppers, the suspect is wanted for at least two break-ins that targeted commercial establishments on 86 Street.

The first burglary took place inside a business at 2007 86 Street, where the perpetrator is reported to have forcibly gained entry through the rooftop on September 21, making off with approximately $450 from the cash register. The suspect reportedly exited once again through the roof, disappearing into an unknown location. In a similar incident the next day, September 22, at approximately 1 a.m., another burglary took place at a different address—515 86th Street. In this case, the individual is believed to have forced entry by breaking a door and then fled with both merchandise and cash. As in the previous incident, the suspect was last seen fleeing on foot, this time exiting through the basement of the property.

The NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline is available for anyone with information regarding these incidents. Individuals can call 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), or for Spanish speakers, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
