
NYPD Crimestoppers has taken to social media with an urgent appeal for information regarding a recent armed robbery in Manhattan. The incident occurred on Wednesday at a commercial establishment on 66 Front Street, according to a social media post. At about 10:17 p.m., an unidentified male entered the business, gathered various items, and attempted to leave without paying.
As the suspect was fleeing the scene, a young 19-year-old male employee confronted him, asking for the stolen goods back. Accused of being the culprit, the perpetrator pulled out a firearm before escaping on a bicycle heading south towards Washington Street. The suspect has been described as a light-complexioned male, last seen wearing a black jacket, dark-colored pants, and white sneakers.
