The NYPD is searching for two men in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Manhattan earlier this month. According to NYPD Crimestoppers Facebook post, the incident took place in the early hours of Sunday last week.

A 37-year-old rideshare driver was working near 419 East 93rd Street when two passengers implied they had a firearm and demanded his belongings. The suspects took the victim’s cellphone and wallet before fleeing south on the FDR Drive in a black sedan. The value of the stolen property has not been disclosed.
Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects. Information can be shared by direct messaging @nypdtips on social media or by calling 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). Callers may remain anonymous. No injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
