A tragic incident in Beaver County has left a 35-year-old man dead following a collision with a semi-truck. The Beaver County coroner confirmed the victim as Abdirahman Farah of Ohio, reports WPXI. Pennsylvania State Police informed that the accident occurred after 2 a.m. on the Pennsylvania Turnpike near the New Castle Interchange, and Farah's death was determined to be accidental.
According to dispatchers, the specifics of the vehicles involved remain unclear; however, the semi-truck is believed to be a central figure in the incident that unfolded in the westbound lanes of the Beaver Valley, New Castle area near Careywood and Shenango, WTAE detailed.
The road faced restrictions down to a single lane amid the investigation, but has since been fully reopened, signaling a return to normal traffic flow despite the earlier disruptions.
