A second victim, who later arrived at Harborview Medical Center (HMC) with a gunshot wound to the leg, is reportedly in serious but stable condition; however, the initial victim, despite the rapid response and emergency care provided by both police officers and the Seattle Fire Department (SFD), was pronounced dead after succumbing to their injuries at HMC.
