A fatal crash in Yolo County this morning left one person dead and three others injured. According to KCRA 3, the collision occurred near the intersection of County Road 102 and County Road 17, about six miles north of Woodland. Law enforcement officers and vehicle debris were visible at the scene.
The crash, involving two vehicles, happened shortly before 6:30 a.m. One vehicle was heavily damaged, while another went off the road and into a nearby orchard. Authorities temporarily closed County Road 102 to investigate the cause of the incident.
CBS News reported that the California Highway Patrol confirmed one fatality, while three other individuals were taken to the hospital. Their conditions have not yet been released.
Investigators are continuing to determine what led to the collision.
