Constable Mark Herman's High Tech Crimes Unit, working with multiple law enforcement agencies, arrested several individuals in an undercover social media sting targeting online predators. The operation involved officers posing as minors to catch adults attempting to engage in illegal activities with children, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
The arrested include James Patrick Lewis, Adam Jeffry Davis, and Nicholson Jimenez, while Franklin Umanzor Salamanca and Arturo Chino remain wanted by ICE. "My office maintains a firm stance against those who prey on our children. I will continue to provide resources to my detectives to identify, locate, and arrest those who victimize our most vulnerable citizens," Constable Herman said, as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Houston and Harris County authorities conducted an online predator sting involving the Harris County Pct. 4 Constable's Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, Houston Police, Montgomery County Constables (Pct. 1, 2, and 3), Klein PD, Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children, and the Harris County District Attorney's Office. According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page, residents are advised to follow the page and use the "C4 NOW" mobile app for updates on crime, arrests, safety tips, and traffic incidents.
