According to the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office social media post, Geo, the Electronic Storage Detection K-9, impressed the attendees not only by his ability to sniff out electronic devices but also by his discipline, completely overlooking the distractions of nearby food which starkly contrasts to his counterparts K-9 Odin and K-9 Remo who are instead motivated by toys, when Geo detects an electronic device, Detective Frame rewards him — and only then — with his food.
The week's curriculum dove deep into the mechanics of crime-solving, Detective Haas and Lieutenant Airaudi leading earnest discussions on Criminal Investigations, Evidence Processing, and Searches & Seizures, with the aim of peeling back the curtain to grant an insider's look into the investigative process, intricately detailing how such operations are meticulously pulled together.
Highlighting an inter-departmental collaboration, Detective Heller introduced the DEA Clandestine Laboratory Response Truck, a noteworthy indicator of the resources marshaled in contemporary law enforcement and the complexities of criminal activities they encounter.
