The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office acknowledged a donation from the Horvat Family to its Drone Unit, raised through the 3rd Annual Jensen Horvat Memorial Ride and Fundraiser. "This contribution comes from the 3rd Annual Jensen Horvat Memorial Ride and Fundraiser for Mental Health Awareness — an incredible event that continues to make a difference in our community," the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office posted.
The donation will support the Drone Unit, which is used in search and rescue and other law enforcement operations. The department noted that the drones have helped improve public safety and provided detailed imagery to assist in investigations, as reported by the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office.
According to the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office on their Facebook page, the Horvat Family made a donation to the department’s Drone Unit, supporting the maintenance and use of its equipment. The Sheriff's Office said, "Thank you again to the Horvat Family for your kindness, generosity, and for allowing us to help honor Jensen’s memory through our continued service."
