A fatal incident occurred yesterday morning in the parking lot of the Saukville Walmart, where a 50-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle and later died from her injuries. According to WISN, Saukville Police responded to the scene at E. Green Bay Ave. near Interstate 43 around 10:51 a.m.
Authorities found the woman with life-threatening injuries. TMJ4 reported that first responders performed life-saving measures before transporting her to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. The Saukville Police Department received assistance from the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office and the Ozaukee Central Fire Department during the response.
The woman’s identity has not been released. Saukville Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash and have not confirmed whether the driver was arrested or may face charges, FOX 6 Now noted. The department has not released additional details and that the investigation remains ongoing.
