
In a tragic incident on a Tuesday evening in Del Valle, a pedestrian lost their life after being hit by a vehicle, local emergency services have confirmed.
The accident occurred around 8:35 p.m. at 3100 North FM 973, as per a report from KXAN. Austin-Travis County EMS arrived at the scene to find the pedestrian deceased. The area, now a site of loss, became a locus for first responders who worked through the night.
Consequent to the fatal event, the Texas Department of Transportation indicated that all lanes northbound on FM 973 at Platt Lane were closed.
