The Tennessee Department of Health has announced a public hearing scheduled for November 18 to gather feedback on Ballad Health and its Certificate of Public Advantage (COPA). The event, wherein residents can voice their thoughts and concerns directly, will be held at the Northeast State Community College's Center for the Performing Arts in Blountville from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. EST.
Details about the hearing and Ballad's COPA can be found on the Tennessee Department of Health website. Individuals who wish to participate will have the opportunity to register upon entry and will be called to present in the order in which they signed in. Each speaker is allocated a three-minute slot to share their perspectives, ensuring that everyone has a chance to be heard within the allocated time frame.
For those who cannot physically attend the hearing, there is an alternative provision to submit comments. They can send their feedback via email to [email protected] or through traditional mail, addressed to the Tennessee Department of Health – COPA, at their Nashville office. The inclusion of these additional media seeks to encompass a wider range of community involvement.
