Residents of Punta Gorda and nearby areas are advised of an early closure at the South County Regional Park pool tomorrow. The facility at 670 Cooper St. will close at 4 p.m. today to prepare for the Moonlight Movie event.
According to the Charlotte County website, the pool area will reopen at 7 p.m. for the outdoor movie screening, where guests can relax on floats while watching a film. Admission is $3 per person.
Regular pool operations will resume on Sunday. The Charlotte County encourages visitors to check its website for updates on future events and schedule changes.
