The Rancho Cordova Police Department (RCPD) joined the Sacramento CCHAT’s “Bike 4 Fun” day to support children who are deaf and hard of hearing. The event, hosted by the Children’s Choice for Hearing & Talking (CCHAT) school, focused on bicycle safety and community engagement, according to a Rancho Cordova Police Department's Facebook post.

Chief Tamayo, Assistant Chief McFarland, and members of the POP, PAL, and Motor units participated, meeting with students and taking part in the activities. The Rancho Cordova Police Department thanked CCHAT for the opportunity to attend and expressed appreciation for the school’s work with children and families.

During the event, students were able to interact with officers and see RCPD’s motorcycles up close. The day provided a chance for students to learn safety practices and connect with local law enforcement in a supportive environment.
