Reneé Rapp’s concert in Tampa has been postponed. The pop singer and “Mean Girls” star announced on her Instagram story that her performance at the Yuengling Center, originally scheduled for yesterday, had to be rescheduled due to illness. "In my career, I have never had to this before — but I have to reschedule tonight and tomorrow’s shows," Rapp stated, emphasizing the seriousness of her condition. According to WFLA, Rapp had tried to continue performing despite her illness but was advised by doctors not to do so.
The Tampa performance has been rescheduled for Nov. 4, while the Atlanta concert will take place on Nov. 5, allowing Rapp time for "vocal rest and physical recovery." Original tickets for the Tampa show will remain valid, and additional tickets are still available for the new date. As per WTSP, the Yuengling Center website includes instructions for retrieving wristbands for the rescheduled concert.
Rapp expressed regret over having to reschedule her shows, acknowledging the effort her fans put into attending. She emphasized her appreciation for the time, planning, and preparation that goes into attending a show and her sorrow for having to make changes. The "Bite Me Tour," her third concert tour, includes 28 scheduled performances across the United States and Europe, as reported by Tampa Bay 28.
Updates regarding rescheduled shows will be shared through Rapp’s social media channels. Fans are advised to keep their tickets, and information on tickets and new concert dates is available on the Yuengling Center’s official website.
