As reported by the Town of Rolesville’s website, the Rolesville Board of Commissioners adopted the “Town of Rolesville Comprehensive Plan 2050,” envisioning a future where the town remains special while fulfilling the needs of its burgeoning population.
The plan sketches out where new neighborhoods, businesses, and parks are most optimally to locate, and how to beef up infrastructure like roads and pathways. Explicitly not altering immediate zoning or property rules, it nonetheless sets a trajectory for what lies ahead. "The Town of Rolesville Comprehensive Plan is a 'big picture' guide for how Rolesville should look and feel by the year 2050," the Town of Rolesville’s announcement explained.
With Rolesville's rapid expansion over recent years, a refresh of the 2017 planning document was essential.
