As the November 4th special election draws near, Sacramento County residents are being reminded of the various ways they can cast their vote. According to the City of Rancho Cordova's official website, it's essential to ensure your registration details are up to date at RegistertoVote.ca.gov to be election-ready.
Despite not hosting a Vote Center this year, Rancho Cordova City Hall will still play a crucial role as a Ballot Drop Box location. Prep to participate in democracy by understanding that each registered voter in the county will receive a Vote by Mail ballot, which must be signed and dated upon returning. Efforts are made to guarantee that voting is made as accessible as possible, with multiple drop box locations for residents to easily forward their ballots between October 6 and November 4.
A variety of Ballot Drop Box locations are available, including the popular Chick's 500° and KP International Market in Rancho Cordova, open for ballot drop-offs during extensive business hours. For instance, KP International Market welcomes voters every day from 8 AM to 9 PM, and on Election Day up to 8 PM, as detailed by the city's announcement.
Additionally, there are Vote Centers conveniently located at places like Koreana Plaza, operational from October 25 through Election Day. These centers are open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM, with extended hours on the day of the election itself to accommodate all schedules. Vote Centers open at 7 AM and close at 8 PM, enabling voters to possibly adjust their routines and to still find the time to vote.
For further information on voting methods and to locate all centers or drop boxes within the county, the City of Rancho Cordova urges citizens to stay informed by visiting their website.
