Authorities are searching for a suspect involved in a peculiar heist at a local HEB store last Tuesday, where a man allegedly stole $257 worth of steaks. Surveillance footage captured the Hispanic male around 6:20 p.m., hiding multiple packages of meat under his clothing before leaving without paying, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
The suspect was seen wearing a Westlake Fire Department t-shirt, initially causing confusion about his identity, as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4. The fire department confirmed he has no connection to them, complicating the investigation as officers work to piece together the limited clues.
Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman's Office is asking the public for help in identifying a suspect. "Deputies are actively working to identify the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call (281) 376-3472 and refer to case #2510-02032," the department said, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page.
