Seattle residents can enjoy a brief period of clear skies this morning, with highs around 61 degrees and light, variable winds. However, this calm is temporary as rainy fronts are expected to move in later in the week, according to the National Weather Service.
The National Weather Service forecasts a 50 percent chance of rain after 11 a.m. on Wednesday, increasing to 80 percent Wednesday night with less than a tenth of an inch expected. On Thursday, the high will be near 63 degrees with south winds of 8–10 mph and more rain expected Thursday night after 11 p.m.
Seattle will have rain from Friday through Monday, with a 100% chance of precipitation and highs in the mid-50s, as reported by the National Weather Service. Residents are advised to wear coats and boots due to the wet conditions.
