Sandy Springs will once again host its seasonal ice skating event, Skate City Springs, from November 14 through January 19, next year. The event transforms City Green into an outdoor skating rink for the third consecutive year, as per the City of Sandy Springs release.
This season introduces new features, including glow skating on Thursday and Friday nights and themed party nights every Saturday. Themes such as Ugly Sweater Holiday on Ice and Saturday Ice Fever will include live DJ performances, as noted in the same release.
The open-air rink welcomes both beginners and experienced skaters. Group bookings are available for parties of 10 or more, and free Skate Helpers will be offered for additional support. Visitors can also enjoy concession treats and themed merchandise.
Tickets go on sale November 3 at noon, priced at $18 for adults and $15 for children ages 2 to 9, with skate rentals included. The city recommends advance reservations due to high demand. Updates and schedule information are available on social media at @CitySpringsDistrict.
