Aviation service in Napa Valley is poised for an uptick following the completion of Skyservice Business Aviation's new facility at the Napa County Airport. The recently finished construction is part of a more extensive effort to modernize and expand the airport, expected to enhance services and boost the local economy. According to a recent report, the construction includes a 40,000-square-foot hangar and a state-of-the-art terminal among its advancements.

In an effort to push forward the region's aviation capabilities, Anne Cottrell, Chair of the Napa County Board of Supervisors, remarked on the significance of this development. "This opening marks a transformative step in our vision to redevelop and modernize the Napa County Airport," she told Napa County. The upgrade is notable for its 28-foot-high hangar doors, suitable for accommodating newer jet models and other features such as electric vehicle charging stations and solar panels. A rooftop restaurant with runway views is also on the horizon for the facility.

The investment in Skyservice's new Napa facility is a component of a broader $30 million renovation initiative at the airport. With an eye on the future, Benjamin Murray, President and CEO of Skyservice, emphasized their dedication to the locality. "The opening of our newly built Napa facility reflects Skyservice’s deep commitment to the local community and to the future of business aviation in the region," Murray stated, as per Napa County's official announcement. The move is intended to raise the standard of service for clients and assist in the area's economic growth.
