Police officers from District C-6 and local residents participated in the Michael J. Perkins School Fun Run at Moakley Park in South Boston. According to the Boston Police Department, officers assisted with the event to help maintain a safe and organized course for participants.
During the event, Boston police officers were stationed along the course to support the day’s activities. They directed traffic, ensured safety, and assisted participants. After the runners crossed the finish line, officers helped distribute medals and recognized the students’ achievements.
The Boston Police Department stated "It was a great day of community, fitness, and fun in South Boston!"
