Her ability to maintain composure and provide instructions was a vital cog in the emergency response machine that day, meanwhile, Tiffini Blanchard, another communications specialist, immediately dispatched the necessary emergency services. For their parts in the life-saving effort, Deputy Victor Campuzano, who administered CPR before EMS took over, and Rae'lyn DeSoto received Distinguished Service Awards, as reported by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office.
Additional commendations were awarded to three other Communications Specialists: Tiffini Blanchard, Heather James, and McKeilla Theriot – all played critical roles in steering the emergency response personnel swiftly to the scene. Their Letters of Commendation recognize the importance of precise coordination in moments when every second counts, as per the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office. Deputy Ruche Marino's long-standing commitment was also celebrated as he received his 30-year service pin, underscoring a career devoted, to public service.
