
The Statesville Police Department is rallying the community together for an evening dedicated to reinforcing the bonds of neighborhood comradeship with its National Night Out event. Scheduled for tomorrow, October 2, 2025, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm in Downtown Statesville at the intersection of W Broad and Mulberry St. The event promises a variety of activities and resources focused on building stronger, safer neighborhoods.
An announcement made by the Statesville Police Department on social media details a slate of attractions for the community engagement night, including "Free Food", "Public Safety Displays", "Inflatables & Entertainment", as well as "Community Resources & More". A family-friendly affair, National Night Out is designed to fortify the connections between neighbors, friends, and the local first responders who protect and serve them.
For more than three decades, National Night Out has woven itself into the fabric of communities nationwide, serving as an annual community-building campaign that fosters police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. The event is known to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community and helping to make our neighborhoods, from city blocks to suburban lawns, safer, more caring places to live.
