Tomorrow evening in Downtown Statesville, the city's Trick-or-Treat event will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Officers will be stationed at key crosswalks to help ensure the safety of all attendees, according to a social media post from the Statesville Police Department.
Families and participants are encouraged to stay alert and use designated crosswalks while enjoying the evening, as streets filled with costumes and candy can still present traffic hazards. The Statesville Police Department shared in a social media post, "Look for the smiling faces of our officers - they’ll be out making sure your evening is safe and full of treats!"
