Last Tuesday, September 23, an altercation took place around 5:50 a.m. A 39-year-old Northwest D.C. local, Gregory Woods Jr., is accused of attacking the victim from behind as she walked along the 4200 block of Connecticut Avenue. According to the Metropolitan Police Department's report, the suspect allegedly began strangling the woman before taking her phone and making an escape.
