On a quiet Thursday night, April 10, just before the midnight hush, chaos ensued on the 1600 block of V Street, Southeast, when officers found an adult male with life-threatening puncture wounds. Identified as 31-year-old Michael Alanzo Jackson, the man, who had no permanent address, ultimately succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to a local hospital, as per MPD's report.

Christopher Taylor, aged 36 and of no fixed address, found himself facing a Second Degree Murder While Armed charge, stemming from an arrest warrant issued by the DC Superior Court.
