
Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s office arrested Jaime Cortes on the 500 block of N. Sam Houston Parkway E. after he failed sobriety tests, showing a blood alcohol content of 0.147, nearly twice the legal limit. Cortes was suspected of driving under the influence and displayed clear signs of intoxication during the roadside checks, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Further investigation revealed that Cortes had two open misdemeanor warrants, adding to his legal troubles. He was subsequently booked into the Harris County Jail for the DUI and outstanding warrants, as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
"Jaime Cortes was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants and charged with Driving While Intoxicated," Constable Mark Herman said, with bond set at $100 in County Court 8, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page.
