The Tampa Convention Center has nabbed the title of Best Convention Center for the Southeast U.S. region in the Stella Awards for a third straight year. According to a recent announcement by the City of Tampa municipal government, this marks a consistent recognition of the center's dedication to service and innovation in the events industry.
“Our team has worked hard to not only earn but maintain our reputation as one of the best convention centers in the region,” said David Ingram, Tampa Convention Center Executive Director, in a City of Tampa statement that highlights the competition from other finalists wasn't a minor feat. Tampa Convention Center's commitment to excellence, food and beverage quality, and professional staff, among other attributes, was honored over four other competitors.
The Stella Awards, considered a pinnacle of achievement in the meetings industry, saw the Tampa Convention Center once again shining through a rigorous selection process. This year's winners stemmed from a hefty pool of more than 10,000 votes cast by event planners and 1,000-plus nominations, whereby an esteemed panel of judges deemed Tampa Convention Center to outshine its counterparts.
Voting is currently underway for the ConventionSouth Magazine Readers’ Choice Awards, with the Tampa Convention Center hoping to replicate its prior success from 2023. While they've been nominated, the facility also secured a reputation in Smart Meetings' Smart Stars Awards and Exhibitor Magazine's Center of Excellence ranking, clearly these accolades are no stranger to the convention center.

With a focus on sustainability, having achieved LEED Silver for Building Operations and Maintenance Certification, the venue emphasizes green building operations.
