Early Wednesday morning, the sequence of events turned the westbound exit ramp near East Kennedy Boulevard into an impromptu crime scene, the Tampa government website reports. The driver, identified as Kevin Arriola, born November 27, 1995, was seen driving his 2010 gray Mazda 3 in a manner best described as erratic, leading to collisions with several vehicles before he took it upon himself to shoot toward a red Chrysler 300, fortunately, without inflicting serious injuries.
It didn't take long for the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office deputies to locate and detain Arriola, not far from the havoc he allegedly wrought, with Tampa Police then stepping in to take over custody and the investigation.
