A 17-year-old boy was arrested after a shooting inside a Sharpstown apartment complex on Thursday evening that led to a SWAT standoff. The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. at the Harbor Town apartments. No serious injuries were reported, as reported by Click2Houston.
When officers arrived, they found a woman on the ground outside who said she was the mother of two girls still inside the apartment. She had jumped from a second-floor balcony to escape the gunfire and was taken to the hospital for injuries from the fall. Responders then faced a standoff with an armed teen inside the apartment, which ended without further incident.
