A fiery collision on Wednesday night in Orange County led to four individuals, including a teenage driver and a 9-month-old infant, being hospitalized after the three vehicles they were in caught fire. The serious incident occurred at the intersection of Wetherbee Road near Sir Winston Way and Bisted Drive in Orlando, as reported by WESH.

The Florida Highway Patrol identified the vehicles involved as a 2014 Nissan Altima, a 2014 Infiniti QX60, and a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban. Driving the Nissan was a 17-year-old boy from Kissimmee whose failure to stop at the intersection led to the multi-vehicle crash. The crash hurled a 76-year-old Orlando man and a 9-month-old into a fraught evening, while a 41-year-old Orlando man was behind the wheel of the Suburban, according to ClickOrlando.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the Altima struck the Infiniti, spiraling into the Chevrolet at the stop. The Infiniti and Chevrolet were reportedly fully engulfed in flames, while the Nissan was partially ablaze. Orange County Fire Rescue teams, who responded to the emergency quickly, extinguished the fires engulfing the vehicles, ensuring that the blaze did not worsen into a larger disaster.

All injured parties, including the teen driver, the elderly driver, the infant from the Infiniti, and the adult driver of the Chevrolet, were taken to hospitals. The current condition of those involved has not been released to the public. While engulfed by the fire with some quick-thinking first responders, the thorough investigation into the crash by the Florida Highway Patrol remains ongoing.
