Early yesterday morning, a rollover crash in Scottsdale sent three people to the hospital with serious injuries. According to FOX 10 Phoenix, the incident took place near Hayden and Redfield roads just before 4 a.m. The Scottsdale Police Department has reported that all three passengers in the vehicle are currently receiving treatment for their injuries.
Phoenix Police disclosed that the accident involved a single vehicle which ended up rolling over. Authorities shut down southbound Hayden Road to facilitate an investigation into the cause of the crash. The road was later reopened around 8 a.m. after detectives concluded their initial assessment on scene. As of yet, police have not specified whether any other vehicles were implicated in the accident, or what specifically led up to the crash.
The condition of the injured parties has been described as serious but non-life-threatening, according to information from AZFamily. Investigators are now looking into whether impairment played a role in the crash with the driver under investigation.
