Three teenagers have been arrested in northwest Harris County in connection with the death of 28-year-old Marine veteran and rideshare driver Quoc "Jake" Nguyen. Nguyen died on September 4 on the side of the road in the 13700 block of Lakewood Forest, according to Click2Houston.

A 15-year-old boy is charged with capital murder, while a 14-year-old and a 13-year-old face charges of tampering with evidence. Authorities say the suspects shot Nguyen, took his belongings and vehicle, and left the scene. He was found around 11 p.m. by a passerby who tried CPR. The 15-year-old was arrested last Thursday, and the other two on Thursday. All three are in the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center, as reported by ABC13.
Nguyen’s body was found after being dragged from a vehicle believed to have been stolen from him, which had been seen leaving a local apartment complex and leaving marks in the grass, as per Click2Houston. The case is now being handled by the juvenile justice system.
