High-speed thrills on public roads have led to the arrest of two individuals after a dicey street race in North Harris County. According to a Facebook post from Constable Mark Herman's Office, deputies reported observing two vehicles traveling at high speeds along the 8000 block of FM 1960 Bypass Road on Sunday, in what was identified as an illegal street race.
Law enforcement's swift response stopped the illegal race, leading to the identification of Jose Martinez and Eduardo Flores as the drivers. Both were caught competing at dangerously high speeds and were arrested on the spot. The Constable's Office stated, "Jose Martinez and Eduardo Flores were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Racing on a Highway," with their bond set at $100.00 each.
