Bryan Kiger, the owner of the Pickle Parlor, asserts that the community deserved more transparency, suggesting that clear communication could foster a collaborative spirit among stakeholders aiming to find mutually beneficial outcomes. Rick Murray, owner of SpectroDolce Confectionary, lamented the need to relocate, particularly given the business's role as an employer of individuals on the autism spectrum, per reports with WTAE. Business owners were told by Cypress Equities, the Dallas-based company undertaking the redevelopment, that they can remain in their current locations until April 2027.
