
The White Settlement Police Department took to social media to announce a recent win against property crime, detailing how Detective Ramirez and his team captured a suspect in connection with burglary charges. The White Settlement Police Department’s Facebook post stated that the suspect was identified and arrested after a traffic stop initiated by a license plate reader alert, which subsequently led to his association with a separate felony burglary out of Haltom City.
Commendations were abundant for the teamwork displayed by the police department, mentioning the pivotal roles played by the WEST COMM 911 dispatchers, Terry and Debbi,e as well as the efforts of Sgt. Blaustein's shift. The acclaim for the collective effort unwittingly shines a light on the interconnected nature of law enforcement work—it isn't a one-person job but rather a tapestry of roles coming together to keep a community safe.
The Criminal Investigations Unit received particular praise for its excellent investigative work, which culminated in the suspect's arrest. The suspect, who had allegedly targeted a building on the 2000 Block of S. Cherry Lane, is now back in custody. In addition to resolving the burglary cases, the police were able to recover several firearms related to the incidents.
