With a tenure that began in the Corrections Division, it lasted but 8 months before Knight transitioned to Patrol for the next 8 years, according to a Facebook post by the Sheriff's Office. Following a 9-year stint in the Court Division, he solidified his legacy with an impressive 23 years in the Criminal Investigation Division, where the Sheriff's Office, wielding a magnifying glass, Knight helped to solve cases and bring resolution to countless situations that might have otherwise remained in the dark.
