A tragic incident unfolded in midtown Sacramento when a woman was struck by a vehicle and later died from her injuries. The Sacramento Police Department reported the crash occurred at about 6:30 p.m. along 29th Street, near K Street, KCRA reports.
After the crash, the injured woman was quickly taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Sadly, she died from her wounds. Roads around the crash site, including 29th Street at K Street, were closed to traffic while police investigated. Drivers were advised to take other routes. The Sacramento Police have not yet shared the woman's identity or details about what caused the accident, according to KCRA.
