
A stabbing at Mana Skatepark in Pearl City has left a 48-year-old woman with multiple injuries, the Honolulu Police Department reported on social media. The incident, which took place on the afternoon of October 17, prompted a swift response from District 3 Patrol officers after they were alerted at approximately 2:46 p.m. The victim, who sustained multiple stab wounds in the attack was promptly treated at the scene and then transported to the hospital for further medical care.
The suspect, a 48-year-old male, was located near the scene of the crime. Authorities confirmed that the man was arrested on charges of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree. According to a statement in a Facebook post by the Honolulu Police Department, "This was not a random act. The suspect is known to the victim." The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
