
Ybor City's Kress Contemporary is showcasing the work of six local artists supported by the Arts Council of Hillsborough County through the 2025 Professional Development for Artists Grants. According to the Hillsborough County release, the exhibit, titled "Arts Council Honors," opened today and runs through November 5 at 1624 E. 7th Ave. as part of the Ybor Arts Tour.
The featured artists include Dylan Perry (painting), Jorie Berman (ceramics), Christine Castro (painting and drawing), Regina Rohm (ceramics), Evan Lawson (film and photography), and Vanessa Thayer (digital painting and photography). Each artist’s work was developed with support from the Arts Council grant program.
The exhibition is free to the public and displayed across two galleries on the third floor of Kress Contemporary. Visitors can view original works funded by grants aimed at enhancing professional development and creative output among Hillsborough County artists.
