The closure, necessitated by pavement and bridge repairs, is scheduled from today through Friday, occurring between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily, as reported by Yolo County Government.
The crucial repair work is targeting the bridge over the Willow Slough Bypass. The location affected is just south of County Road 28H and approximately two miles northeast of Davis. Yolo County Public Works Division warns that, the schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions and the day-to-day availability of the hot mix asphalt materials essential for the repairs. For the duration of construction hours, both County Road 105 and the bridge will be inaccessible.
Conveying the local government's awareness of the disruption this causes, Vice Chair Sheila Allen of the Yolo County Board of Supervisors remarked, “We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this closure but are glad to see the County’s infrastructure needs being addressed,” as noted by the county's release.
